YOGA PROGRAMME & STYLE

• The morning sessions will give us the opportunity to build a sequence, step by step, during the whole week together.
• This sequence can be a tool for you to deepen your yoga practice and understand the asanas from the experience of a practitioner.
• The sequence will consist of warming and strengthening exercises, suryanamaskar (sun salutations), and asanas (postures) under different plans.
• The teaching is precise, detailed, focusing on corrections and proper alignment.
• Following a traditional way of teaching Traditional Hatha Yoga, the aim is to bring as much attention as possible and create a deep transformative opening of the mind.
• We will explore pranayama and mudras as well.
• The afternoon sessions will consist in different sequences elaborated to open the hips, improve the flexibility of the spine, enhance concentration.
  

YOGA CLASS TRAINER

Marina Bergamin– The Indian path

• A shiatsu graduate as well as an energetic diet teacher, Marina is strongly dedicated to Yoga practice under all its forms.
• Her first encounter with yoga took place at Esalen, in California with Iyengar style. From then on, her path with Yoga never stopped and this first step took her to Ashtanga, a style she followed for 8 years.
• She then moved to Mysore, with her family, where she encountered her present Master, Acharya Venkatesha. With him, she really dove deeply into the practice and understanding of Yoga and through that practice, she experienced Yoga as the strong, amazing, transformative tool of the mind.
• She practised with him for 7 years, undergoing the fire of tapas until he gave her the permission, to teach.
• She now teaches in Spain, Switzerland, India, respecting as much as possible the teaching as she has received it, with rigour, humility and simplicity.
